It seems that since the renaisscance of Point of Ayr band in 2007, and despite the unbelievable rapid progress thro
ugh the ranks that they have acheived, a major part of the band was missing. The Uniforms. At the closure of the band, uniforms were borrowed by other bands, making it a difficult job for them to be caught up with and reunited back in Ffynnongroyw. However, thanks to the hard work of certain band members, it is now a reality.
After a lot of searching, many telephone calls, and a trip by John Hinckley to Edinburgh, our uniforms are now back where they belong in the band room. With blue sleeves and collars, gold rope trim and brass buttons, they are enough to make even the tattiest band member look the very meaning of smartness.
